Christmas Break In

This movie is basically Home Alone, but in a school.

Movie starts with 3 people robbing a Salvation Army. Rico, Barbie, and Ned. Rico and Barbie are a couple. Ned is Barbie's brother.  Ned is a nice guy caught up in the wrong crowd.Their getaway car is an ice cream truck. We will get back to them.

Izzy wakes up one day and she is SUPER excited because her parents are taking her to the guitar store after school and she is getting a new Fender. Except her parents forget her all the time. Izzy is 9 and is super independent because of her parents negligence and will probably be working that through in therapy many years later.

She writes on her parents foreheads, and hands to not forget her. Guess what, they do because #careerdriven.

Izzy is bff’s with Danny Glover aka the janitor who also plays the guitar. He even has a Fender in a glass frame on the wall in the janitors office. Typical janitor.

School ends, it’s time for the holiday break, and a blizzard is coming. Danny has a gig to play so he leaves Izzy in the school all by herself as she waits for her parents who have forgotten her. Pretty sure that is against policy.

Izzy waits for hours, then has tons of fun eating pudding, putting on her own concert, playing dress up in the lost and found. Home Alone right!?!?!?!?!

Izzy’s parents realize they forgot their daughter, jump in the car, and get in a car accident in a blizzard.

The 3 people in the ice cream truck drive around for a while then are stranded in blizzard and go to the school. Danny Glover heard from Izzy’s parents, so he goes to school to check on her. People who robbed Salvation Army tie up Danny Glover. Izzy thwarts them with all sort of things to make them believe the school is haunted.

Her parents meanwhile are wandering in the wild and find a barn, what’s in the barn? Goats and Santa’s sleigh. Typical. They rig it up, but then a delivery truck drives by, and they go with that option. Smart choice forgetful parents.

Of course it is driven by “Chris” who is a white man with a white beard also #notallsantasarewhitey’all . Truck is called the North Pole Express. While in the truck her parents have an epiphany and realize they have been neglecting their children.

Meanwhile Izzy’s teen brother who has been hanging out with friends flying drones (like you do) has decided to go rescue his sister. How does he do this? He connects four drones together and ties them to a snowboard. Because four drones could pull a person? Pretty sure that isn’t possible.

How does it end? Santa drops the parents off, they reunite, Santa rams the ice cream truck that Barbie is trying to escape in. Danny comes over for Christmas and gives Izzy his guitar that was in the case. Everyone lives happily ever after. With therapy.
